Shot these photos with my Nikon FM2 camera around Soho, the projects and China Town, New York.

If you find your self at the Cnr of Broome st and Crosby St in Soho NY keep an eye out for this van!!!! it’s a group of young american guys running a portable mexican stand… SUPER GOOD!!!!!

NY.

I have always been facinated with NYC skyline shots, but the problem is so is everyone else. Getting an original angle can be tricky. A buddy of mine i was staying with in NY at the time suggested i try 2 Gold St. It’s a residential building, which can be tricky walking into with camera gear, but if you kinda act like you live there and head straight for the elevator you should be fine. Head to the top – level 52. The view is super sweet! In summer you’ll find about 300 half naked bodies sun baking, just like Kylie Minogue’s video clip ‘SLOW’.

I really wanted to capture, both the craziness of Times Square and the way a NYC taxi driver experiences it ever day, all in the 1 shot. I shot 3 rolls to get this result.

On the street in Soho, NY.
I took these shots around China Town on a Nikon FM2 camera. To me photography is all about confidence in your subject and composition.

I snapped these on my Nikon FM2, between Tribeca and the West Village.

When it comes to photographing your mates it can be kinda hit and miss, unless your room mates are super models!!! hahahaha they will kill me for posting this… but we were all bored on a Sunday afternoon in NY and i had a few rolls of film left. This is what happened! I only wish that the beautiful, kind Amy Shaw who was also staying with me at the time had of participated. Maybe next time Amy!
starring MB ( Eric, Trueblood) and SL (the yoga queen)

I took these photos on the Diana medium formate Camera while on a recent trip through NY. I was super happy with the way these few shots turned out, but to get 3 shots that actually worked in terms of exposure took 5 rolls.
