Channel Nine wanted to deliver a world-class holiday special that blended Australian tradition with international star power—capturing the magic of Christmas from Los Angeles.

Solution
With my team at Dundas Media I co-produced Christmas with Delta in Hollywood, filmed in the heart of Los Angeles. The special showcased Delta Goodrem performing with world-renowned artists including Josh Groban, Christina Perri, Howie Dorough (Backstreet Boys), Pat Monahan, Calum Scott, Lukas Nelson, and Colin Hay. Through festive duets, holiday classics, and surprise appearances, the show brought Australian holiday cheer direct from Hollywood.

Execution

  • I personally co-produced the show, directed and wrote the show’s opener, crafted the location stories around LA, and edited the entire broadcast from start to finish.

  • Leveraged Dundas Media’s Los Angeles base to access Hollywood’s talent and production resources.

  • Seamlessly coordinated between Australian broadcasters and U.S. production.
